Three medals: Tyrol’s youth top at the European Tourism Championships

Pupils from Innsbruck's Villa Blanka brought home three bronze medals. They took part in this year's European Tourism Championships in Riga. As recognition, they also received an invitation to the Landhaus.

The AEHT conference (Association Européenne des Ecoles d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme) took place in Riga for the 37th time. The European Championship of Tourism Schools also took place during the conference. Tyrol's young people once again demonstrated their talent.

Hannah Hudovernik, Elena Astenwald and Simon Klotz were able to bring three bronze medals back to Tyrol. The trio attend Villa Blanka in Innsbruck.

These young talents are the tourism professionals of tomorrow. We can be more than proud of them.

On the podium in three categories
The medals were awarded to the young talents in the categories "Wine Service", "Hospitality Management" and "Decathlon Cooking". In recognition, the students were invited to the Landhaus by LR Mario Gerber and LR Cornelia Hagele. "These young talents are the tourism professionals of tomorrow. We can be more than proud of them," were the words of praise from both.
