Strong start to the season

A place on the podium for ski mountaineer Dreier

There is no better way to start the winter! Ski mountaineer Sarah Dreier took third place in the first vertical race of the season in Courchevel, France. 

Sarah Dreier started the winter with ambitious goals on Sunday. And the Pinzgau native proved straight away that she is a force to be reckoned with this year too and that her goals are not set too high. In the first vertical race, the defending crystal globe champion was delighted with her podium finish, coming third. 

Only local heroes Axelle Gache-Mollaret and Emily Harop were better than Dreier in Courchevel. Johanna Hiemer from Schladming came sixth.
