Emergency doctor call-out for "Grill den Henssler"! Reiner Calmund suddenly had health problems during the recording of the popular VOX show and had to be taken to hospital.

As reported by the "Bild" newspaper, the incident occurred on Wednesday during the recording of the cooking show "Grill den Henssler" in Cologne.

During filming, Reiner Calmund is said to have suddenly felt unwell and complained of circulatory problems. He even had to be supported by TV colleague Christian Rach.

The emergency services were informed immediately and took the former soccer manager to hospital. 

Calmund can "leave hospital soon"
On Thursday, however, Calmund was able to cautiously give the all-clear. "I'm fine again. I suddenly felt really dizzy while filming," express.de quotes the 76-year-old as saying. "But after the examinations and treatments, I can leave the clinic again soon."

According to Bild, Calmund suffered from atrial fibrillation - a heart rhythm disorder. 

Back in the studio soon
But Calmund wants to return to the studio as soon as possible, as he joked. "We have a break from filming today, which is why I chose this day for the hospital check-up."

The "Grill den Henssler" episode is due to be broadcast in January.
