Pedestrian (23) hit by car and injured

A traffic accident occurred shortly before midnight on Tuesday in St. Johann im Pongau, more precisely at the intersection with the Großarler Landesstraße. A pedestrian (23) was walking there and was hit by the car of a Pongau man (23) of the same age. 

It is still unclear exactly how the accident occurred. In any case, the pedestrian was injured in the collision and was taken to Schwarzach Hospital by the ambulance service. The car driver's breathalyzer test was negative. The investigation is continuing.
