Top model Miranda Kerr suffered a miscarriage

Miranda Kerr has made a sad revelation: the top model has spoken out about suffering a miscarriage.

Kerr has 13-year-old son Flynn with her ex-partner Orlando Bloom and three other sons with her husband Evan Spiegel. The 41-year-old has now revealed that her youngest son Pierre, who was only born in February, was a "rainbow baby". The couple had previously had to cope with the heartbreaking loss of a child.

Kerr spoke about miscarriage
In the "Not Alone" podcast, the supermodel spoke about what it's like to be a mother of four boys and explained: "I've always been happy in my heart, regardless of gender, and I also had a miscarriage and it was a boy too."

She continued: "My current son is technically my fifth boy. He's a rainbow baby and he's so cute, but each one of them was so different." 

"Was very naive"
Looking back, Kerr knows that she was "very naive" during her first pregnancy and has learned over the years. "With each pregnancy I became more knowledgeable and a little more worried about what could go wrong, whereas with my first pregnancy I thought: 'Wow, this is so...' I was just very naive," she confessed. "And now you know more and you worry more in that regard."

The Australian also revealed that she had difficulties with almost every pregnancy and had to take it easy. "In the last few months I've had to be on bed rest with everyone except Flynn and that's really difficult when you have kids," she admitted.
