Serious accident at work on Monday afternoon in Tyrol! A 72-year-old man slipped on the roof of his house and fell around four meters. The local man sustained several fractures in the fall.

At around 3.30 pm, the Tyrolean was carrying out work on the roof of his private house in the municipality of Pill (district of Schwaz). "The 72-year-old was in the process of securing himself with a rope around his stomach when he slipped on a mat and fell four meters into the depths," said the police.

Taken to hospital
Relatives heard the accident victim's cries for help and immediately set the rescue chain in motion. The man was taken to hospital with several fractures.
