HTL professor wants to stop rampages at schools

A technician from St. Pölten is convinced that his security system can save lives in an emergency. School classes and staff rooms are transformed into fortresses. 

Nobody likes to imagine that there will actually be a bloody rampage at one of our schools. But just in case, I have invented a blockade device. Simply because the health of the children, young people and their teachers is important to me," emphasizes the experienced St. Pölten HTL professor Wolfgang Bauer.

Doors are locked rock solid
In fact, his patented "AmokTS" system is able to lock doors so rock-solid that they can no longer be broken open by potential attackers from the other side. The only caveat: a weak "cardboard door" cannot, of course, be turned into a door with a high security standard.

Security not only in schools 
The clever inventor's invention - made from unbreakable bioplastic - can be used in teachers' rooms and classrooms as well as in various offices in companies, i.e. also outside domestic educational institutions.

Siren with flashing light as a supplement
Bauers also has an additional security product: a school alarm. This code button, including siren and flashing signal light in the event of an amok or other emergency, can be triggered by any teacher in a matter of seconds using a chip or code.
