New regulation at authorities divides opinion

Passports and driving licenses are now only issued with an appointment throughout Carinthia. This often leads to long waiting times and a lack of understanding among the population. The "Krone" knows the reasons for this step by the district authorities. 

Anyone who goes to a district authority and believes that they can apply for a passport is in a bad position. Once there, many are turned away. The reason: passports are only issued after an appointment has been made.
