Microsoft Copilot will help with programming in future

From November, Microsoft customers will be able to use autonomous programs based on artificial intelligence. With the virtual assistant Copilot, even non-experts will be able to write complex software, the US company announced on Monday.

The apps can be used to process customer inquiries, identify sales opportunities and manage inventory, for example. The company is also introducing ten ready-to-use assistants that can help with routine tasks.

"The idea is that Copilot is the user interface for AI," Microsoft manager Charles Lamanna told the Reuters news agency. "Every employee will have a Copilot, their personal AI assistant."
