Bomb threat against Linzer Stellungsstraße

Although a Swiss man was only identified a few days ago, the bomb threats continue. Now another threat has been received, this time the target was the army's military road in Linz's Garnisonstraße. The building was searched, but no explosive device was found.

After the start of duty on Thursday at 8 a.m., a member of staff from the position commission noticed the threat, which had been received by email later on Wednesday evening. The entire barracks were then evacuated and 120 people were sent home. After the building had been searched, the all-clear was given.

Around 40 conscripts were to be checked for their fitness for duty on Thursday. They are expected to be invited back at a later date. According to information from "Krone", however, it is unlikely that the threat was the 20-year-old Swiss man, but a freeloader.
