Night-time fire alarm in Salzburg old town hotel

A fire alarm went off in a hotel in Salzburg's old town on Wednesday night: the fire broke out in the kitchen area. An employee became aware of the smoke and extinguished the fire. 

Shortly after midnight, the woman noticed the smoke and reacted immediately. She managed to extinguish the fire. She and another employee had to be taken to the regional hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.

The professional fire department checked the building and was able to clear it half an hour later.
