Man paid for a Chihuahua but didn’t get a dog

A 62-year-old man from the Tyrolean Oberland region fell victim to brazen internet fraudsters: The senior citizen ordered a Chihuahua online and transferred more than 1000 euros. However, the man never got to see the dog.

The 62-year-old Tyrolean came across the animal offer on an online sales platform. He then ordered a Chihuahua puppy and transferred the agreed price in the three-digit euro range, the police reported.

"Seller" suddenly wanted more money
But then the supposed seller demanded even more money. The senior responded and transferred more than 1000 euros again.

Then the contact broke off - the local man is still waiting in vain for the pedigree dog. The money is gone, of course.
