Snaking lines: police catch drunk driver

An attentive road user noticed a car driving in serpentine lines on the main road in Tyrol and informed the police. As it turned out, the driver (37) was heavily intoxicated. Fatal: she had her nephew (8) in the car with her.

A car was driving conspicuously slowly and in serpentine lines in front of him, a driver informed the police as he was driving on the B171 Tiroler Straße in Radfeld on Friday. The car was stopped by a police patrol a short time later.

As the local driver (37) gave the officers the impression of being heavily intoxicated, they carried out a breathalyzer test. And lo and behold: the driver was heavily intoxicated.

Driver's license confiscated
The driver's license was confiscated on the spot and she was prohibited from continuing to drive, according to the police. Particularly explosive: the driver's eight-year-old nephew was riding in the back seat of the car.
