Allocation of seats: Graf trembles for parliamentary seat

This afternoon, the Salzburg state electoral authority decided on the final result of the National Council elections. The seats have now been allocated to the parties. Seven directly elected MPs will represent the province in Vienna in future. One ÖVP member of parliament is still trembling.

This afternoon, the provincial electoral authority allocated the seven mandates in the National Council that can be entered via the provincial list. Three for the FPÖ. Three for the ÖVP. And one for the SPÖ.

Elisabeth Heiß, Volker Reifenberger and Sebastian Schwaighofer from the FPÖ have secured a place. Andreas Haitzer will enter the National Council via the Salzburg SPÖ list. Karoline Edtstadler, Peter Haubner and Carina Reiter received an ÖVP provincial mandate. The current Salzburg National Councillor Tanja Graf (ÖVP) is still trembling: If Edtstadler renounces her federal mandate, Graf will be kicked out of parliament.
