Man wanted to beat up police officers during car seizure

First barricaded in, then went berserk: Because his car was to be repossessed, a man from Mostviertel even wanted to beat up police officers.

It is in the nature of things that bailiffs are rarely welcomed with open arms. In Amstetten, however, the seizure of a car ended with a major police operation. Despite his high debts, the 44-year-old did not want to part with his car. First he refused to hand over the car keys, then he barricaded himself in the apartment. Cooperation? Not a chance!

But when the ÖAMTC was called to open the car and tow it away, the man was suddenly in a hurry. He stormed out of the apartment and immediately attacked the police officers accompanying the executor. The handcuffs temporarily clicked for the man from Mostviertel, who was known to the police. He was released and charged with resisting arrest.
