Starting a hobby run with heavy breathing protection

"It was really hot"
It took them one hour and eight minutes to cover the seven-kilometre route - on foot, "because the air consumption would be far too high if they were running," says Reindl. The glorious weather made the event even more difficult: "It was really hot, and the equipment weighed around 25 kilos," says the 28-year-old.

Plans for next year?
Last year, the comrades had already completed the run with helmets and turnout gear, so what are they planning for next year? "We still have to think about that," says the Floriani.
