Three masked men robbed nightclub in Graz

Three masked robbers were probably hoping for big money in a nightclub in the Lend district of Graz on Tuesday morning. However, as the resolute ladies refused to hand over any cash, the men had to flee without any loot. No one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.

At around 2.20 a.m., the three previously unknown perpetrators entered the nightclub. Two female entertainers (41, 53) were in the club at the time. According to the police, one of the masked robbers was armed with a knife and demanded money in a foreign accent.

But the two women refused to hand over any money to the robbers. In the meantime, the 54-year-old bar owner, who was also present in the bar, joined them. The perpetrators then apparently realized the futility of their endeavor and fled without any loot.

No one was injured in this failed robbery. A manhunt for the perpetrators has so far been unsuccessful. Detectives from the State Office of Criminal Investigation (robbery group) have started the investigation.
