A Black Hawk helicopter from the Austrian Armed Forces had to rescue several people. They were trapped by the masses of water after a car accident. They included a woman and her dog "Hexi", who were separated after the accident because the owner had to go to hospital.

Mission for the Austrian Armed Forces. A helicopter crew had to take off after a car crashed in Markersdorf near St. Pölten and was trapped by the masses of water. "They were no longer able to save themselves under their own power. In addition to a firefighter and a police officer, there was also a woman and her dog on board," said the Austrian Armed Forces. The helicopter team was able to successfully rescue the people.

Woman had to go to hospital
The woman had to go to hospital on Saturday after the accident for more detailed examinations and was separated from her four-legged friend "Hexi". Courageous soldiers from the Langenlebarn airbase took the animal in for the time being and looked after "Hexi" despite the challenges of the storm disaster.

Two days later, "Hexi" was returned to her owner in good health. "There's a happy ending in a storm," said the happy staff at the airbase about the "reunion" of dog and owner.
