Strolz comeback as minister “more than questionable”

In a recent podcast, NEOS founder Matthias Strolz publicly applied for the post of education minister - for "his" party. However, the move did not only generate positive reactions there. A comeback of the former party leader as minister is currently "more than questionable".

According to former NEOS leader Matthias Strolz in the podcast "Die Dunkelkammer", he is "interested" and "ready" not only for a comeback in federal politics, but also for higher office. Strolz would have loved the office of Minister of Education.

He is prepared to go "all in" and give up his entrepreneurial freedoms. Announcements that were also heard by the NEOS, but were not only received positively.

"It's not about posts or who does what," is the official word from the party. It is also said that internally, people are more than just surprised by the NEOS founder's statements. Most recently, Strolz had always said that he could no longer and no longer wanted to be active in party politics, referring to his family and his entrepreneurial activities.

However, this is not the only reason why it seems "more than questionable" that he would become a minister if the worst came to the worst.
