Driver hit schoolgirl and hit-and-run driver

A hit-and-run driver is currently being sought in Wels. The unknown driver hit a 13-year-old girl on the way to school on Monday morning and then simply drove on. He left the child seriously injured without paying any attention. A search is underway for a small, gray car. The police are urgently looking for witnesses to the accident. 

The girl was walking along Zeileisstraße in Wels towards school at around 7.45 am on Monday. The 13-year-old wanted to cross the road at the school. 

Unknown driver
At the same time, an unknown driver was driving a car south along Zeileisstraße and hit the child. The pupil fell as a result of the collision and was seriously injured. 

Police are looking for clues
Without stopping to help, the driver simply continued his journey after the accident. According to the police, the hit-and-run driver's vehicle is said to be a small, gray car.
