Despite weapons ban: Pole running around with a knife

A Pole caused a scare for commuters and travelers at Innsbruck main station on Monday morning. The 36-year-old was walking around with a knife. The man is no stranger to the police. 

A passer-by alerted the Innsbruck police at around 10.40 am. The witness informed the police that a man was walking around with a knife in the concourse of the main station - where around 40,000 travelers come and go every day.  

The police moved out and arrested the Polish man. According to the police, he had a kitchen knife with him. Because he was in breach of the weapons ban at the station, the Pole was taken away. But that's not the only reason: according to the police, the man is also banned from the station.
