Doing good with your electricity or gas bill - it's currently very easy. The local energy supplier EVN shows how.

You can score social points! All household customers who purchase electricity or gas from EVN automatically collect bonus points. In addition, even more bonus points can be collected with little effort - for example by registering for the newsletter and e-mail invoice or using "Services Plus" online. The points collected can be redeemed for many different offers, but can also be donated.

Help that arrives
Customers of the local energy provider who choose to donate can currently support Franz Lechner's social department store in Wiener Neustadt, for example. In addition to discounted food and toiletries, the store also sells clothing, furniture, books and tools. Donated points help him to cushion the fixed costs.

Himmelschlüsselhof in Texingtal is also on the support list. Twelve adults with mental and multiple disabilities grow, tend and harvest fruit and vegetables there. "We are using the donation to renovate our vaulted cellar, where the harvest is stored," reports initiator Margit Fischer.
