Truck forced into bridge arch by car driver

Due to an inconsiderate car driver, a truck driver had to change lanes in the area of a detour on the Drautal road in East Tyrol. As a result, he crashed into a bridge arch that was too low for his vehicle.

The accident occurred on Wednesday (4.15 p.m.) while driving on a bypass set up by the B100 in the Geselhaus area in the municipality of Abfaltersbach. "A 54-year-old professional driver from Georgia, who was traveling with a truck and semi-trailer, was approached by a car at the narrow section of a railroad overpass bridge," said the police.
