17-year-old ripped off when buying a vehicle online

A young Tyrolean (17) wanted to buy an agricultural vehicle via an online sales portal. But he was ripped off by a fraudster. The 17-year-old had contact with the supposed seller several times. 

A so-called yard loader caught the young Tyrolean's eye on an online platform on August 25. The agricultural vehicle was said to cost just over 10,000 euros. The 17-year-old corresponded with the supposed seller in writing and by telephone.

This apparently built up trust and the teenager was prepared to transfer a down payment of several thousand euros. After that, however, there was radio silence. The seller could no longer be contacted and the vehicle was not delivered.
