Nicole Kidman wows at the film festival

This year, the Hollywood divas are literally holding hands: after Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman has now also arrived at the Venice Film Festival. She is presenting her erotic thriller "Babygirl".

The Australian-born actress attended the press conference together with director Halina Reijn. In "Babygirl", she tells the story of a businesswoman who begins an affair with a young intern. The protagonist is played by Hollywood star Nicole Kidman.

Harris Dickinson ("Triangle of Sadness") plays the intern, Antonio Banderas the cuckolded husband.

Low-cut dress
At the film's press conference at the Excelsior, both Reijn and Nicole Kidman wore black dresses, with Kidman's dress being very revealing. The Oscar winner added a cozy touch with white loafers. 

Kidman previously admitted that she was unsure whether she would be brave enough to watch her new film "Babygirl" at the Venice Film Festival. 

"Most revealing film" of her career
In an interview with "Vanity Fair", the 57-year-old explained: "Something inside me says: 'Okay, this movie is made for the big screen and should be seen with an audience.' But I'm not sure I have the courage to do it."

Kidman described "Babygirl" as the "most revealing" film of her career and emphasized that she was particularly nervous about the sex scenes. "It feels weird to think that the whole world is going to see it," she confessed.
