Austria's representatives in the Conference League know their opponents in the group stage. Hütteldorfer face Copenhagen (H), Basaksehir (A), Omonia (A), Noah (H), Petrocub (A) and Shamrock (H), while Linzer are up against Fiorentina (A), Djurgarden (H), Olimpija (A), Cercle Brugge (H), Borac (A) and Vikingur (H).

The six opponents from six pots were randomly selected by software. Rapid, drawn from pot 3, will face Copenhagen (1) at home, Shamrock Rovers (4) from Ireland and FC Noah (6) from Armenia. Away trips to Basaksehir (2) in Turkey, Omonia Nicosia (3) in Cyprus and Petrocub Hincesti (5) in the Republic of Moldova are on the agenda.

Linz, who were drawn from Pool 1, play their home games against Djurgadens IF (2), currently second in the Swedish table, Belgian representative Cercle Brugge (4) and Icelandic champions Vikingur Reykjavik (6). The program includes away games at Fiorentina (1), Olimpija Ljubljana (3) in Slovenia with the two Austrians Ahmet Muhamedbegovic and Raul Florucz and Borac Banja Luka (5) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Top eight go straight through
Unlike in the Champions League or Europa League, there are only six instead of eight matches in the league phase of Europe's third-highest club competition. The top eight teams progress directly to the round of 16, the teams ranked ninth to 24th play a play-off to the round of 16, while the remaining twelve clubs are eliminated. The final will take place on May 28, 2025 in Wroclaw.
