Drunk e-bike rider crashed

On the evening of August 29, an e-bike rider crashed in Salzburg-Itzling. The man was injured to an indeterminate degree and was subsequently taken to the accident hospital. The 59-year-old was heavily intoxicated at the time of the accident. 

According to his own statements, the cyclist collided with an oncoming e-scooter rider on a cycle path in Itzling. The former then fell and sustained injuries of indeterminate severity.

The ambulance took the man, who had a blood alcohol level of 1.76 per mille, to the UKH. The 59-year-old will be charged.
