Italian ferry runs over boats while docking

In the Italian coastal town of Sorrento near Naples, a huge ferry has spun out of control - tourists filmed the nerve-wracking moment when the large ship crashed into smaller boats that had docked in the local harbor. 

The ferry belongs to the shipping company Caremar and is believed to have had a technical fault. Local media speculated that the ship had problems with the reverse gear. It simply continued straight ahead and collided with several small motorboats.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. The coastguard has launched an investigation into the incident.
