First points dropped for Arsenal London in the new Premier League season. Just like their opponents Brighton, the Gunners failed to score at home on Saturday after two wins in two games. The final score was 1:1.

Arsenal conceded points for the first time this season when they were outnumbered. The title contenders in the English Premier League were held to a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. The Gunners led according to plan (38') after a brilliant finish from Kai Havertz and an assist from Bukayo Saka. After midfielder Declan Rice was shown a yellow card (49'), the visitors, who remain unbeaten, equalized through Joao Pedro (58').

Both teams then missed chances to win and are on seven points after three rounds. Champions Manchester City could overtake them with an away win against West Ham this evening. The key moment for Arsenal was, of course, the exclusion of Rice, who received his second yellow card for attempting to prevent a free-kick and will miss the derby against Tottenham.
