Tyra Banks: Comeback at Victoria’s Secret show

What a heavenly comeback in the supermodel world. After 19 years of abstinence, Tyra Banks is pinning on her angel wings again. Because she is returning as Angel to the catwalk that launched her global career - the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

After a five-year absence, the underwear and lingerie company has brought its famous fashion show, which features the "who's who" of the supermodel world, back to life in its former glory. On October 15, the angels will once again "float" down the catwalk in New York City.

Banks celebrates her comeback
Banks announced her return in a video on her Instagram account with the help of colleague Gigi Hadid. It shows the 29-year-old entering the lobby of a luxury hotel in a silver glitter dress.

Behind the reception desk is a woman with her back turned to her. "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2024" is printed on the back of her black college jacket.

Gigi Hadid is also there
Hadid has to press the bell twice before the "hotel employee" turns around. It's Banks, who smiles and hands Gigi a golden envelope with the invitation to the fashion show and then holds up her own: "I'll see you there!"

Hadid looks stunned and whispers "Thank you" and "love you" - before walking away.
