Mosquito in the eye? German woman crashed her bike in Tyrol

Serious cycling accident Sunday afternoon in Tyrol! According to her own statements, a 28-year-old female cyclist from Germany was hit in the eye. She rolled over and injured herself, including her face.

Shortly before 12.45 p.m., the woman from the Rhein-Erft district was the last of a group of four on her bike on the Kühtaier Landesstraße heading downhill when something suddenly flew into her eye.

Taken to hospital
The woman lost control of her bike, overturned and suffered abrasions to her face and injuries to her elbow and hip on impact. After first aid, the German woman was taken to hospital in Zams by the ambulance service.
