Romanian speeding through Mühlbach without a driver’s license

Yesterday, Saturday morning, the police were astonished: during a speed check in Mühlbach am Hochkönig, they measured the speed with a laser gun when the laser gun displayed a whopping 99 km/h in the 50 km/h zone. The driver check was adventurous. 

In the Mühlbach am Hochkönig area, the police carried out checks using a laser measuring device on Saturday morning. At 10:15, the measurement suddenly showed 99 instead of the permitted 50 km/h. 

During the check, it turned out that the vehicle had a British registration. The driver was a Romanian citizen and did not have a driver's license. The Eastern European had to pay a security deposit of 650 euros, he was banned from continuing his journey and the passenger continued his journey. Charges will follow.
