Bruce Willis: Daughter Rumer gives health update

In a Q&A session on her Instagram story, Rumer Willis spoke about dad Bruce's current state of health. The Hollywood star suffers from frontotemporal dementia.

Rumer Willis answered numerous questions from her fans in her Instagram stories. And of course her followers also wanted to know how her father Bruce was doing.

"He's doing great"
When asked how the Hollywood star was doing, the 36-year-old, who became a mom herself for the first time last year, explained: "He's doing great, I love him so much. Thank you!"

But Rumer also shared more private details. Because, as she revealed, just over a year after the birth of her daughter Louetta, she is "a single mom again".

The celebrity daughter and musician Derek Richard Thomas have quietly and secretly split up. "I'm so grateful for Lou. She's the best thing in my life and I'm happy that she's here thanks to this relationship," Rumer Willis concluded.

At the beginning of last year, Bruce Willis' family announced that the actor was suffering from frontotemporal dementia. The action star had previously retired from Hollywood after being diagnosed with aphasia. 

Close connection to granddaughter
Willis and daughter Rumer are very close, and since the birth of Louetta, dad and daughter have become even closer, as the 36-year-old recently revealed on the talk show "Today".

Mainly because her father is crazy about his granddaughter, as she revealed: "He's so good. I saw him just before my trip to New York - and Lou is just starting to walk a bit. It was so sweet the way she ran up to him."
