Sepp Straka in 23rd place in Colorado

Golfer Sepp Straka goes into the weekend in 23rd place at the second stage of the FedExCup play-offs in Castle Rock in the US state of Colorado. 

The Austrian needed 70 strokes for his round on the par-72 course at Castle Pines Golf Club on Friday (local time). After his 72 the day before, Straka is now eleven strokes behind the leader Adam Scott, who shone with a round of 63 on Friday. Only the top 50 in the FedExCup rankings made it to Colorado.

At the beginning of the day, Japan's Hideki Matsuyama withdrew from the tournament as he had felt "discomfort in his lower back". Matsuyama had won the St. Jude Championship in Memphis the previous week.
