Locomotive caught fire at Golling station

A fire broke out on a locomotive at Golling station on Monday morning. The cause of the fire was in the electrical system inside the locomotive. The fire department extinguished the fire using heavy breathing apparatus. 

The alarm was raised shortly before eight o'clock in the morning: There was an enormous amount of smoke coming from a locomotive. 21 firefighters were on site in just a few minutes. The fire department used heavy equipment to extinguish the fire and then ventilated the locomotive to remove the fumes. 

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The operation was over after just under an hour.
