Drunk driver overturned his car in Liebnitz

A 55-year-old man drove his car off the road in Sankt Johann im Saggautal (Leibnitz district) on Friday evening. He overturned and came to rest on the roof. The injured man was taken to Graz Regional Hospital. As it turned out later, he had been driving under the influence of alcohol.

That could have ended badly: Although he had had too much to drink, a 55-year-old man from the Leibnitz district was driving along the L 604 at around 8.30 pm. Suddenly, his car veered off the road to the right and overturned.

Rescue to the LKH
The car then came to rest on its roof. The 55-year-old had to be treated by an emergency doctor and taken to Graz Regional Hospital by ambulance. It turned out that he was heavily intoxicated at the time of the accident. The car was totaled.
