E-biker flies several meters through the air after crash

Unbraked and without looking, a 19-year-old rode his e-bike across a junction in Wolfsberg. An 86-year-old driver was unable to react and hit the e-biker head-on.

The 19-year-old from the Wolfsberg district sustained serious injuries as a result of his failure to observe the priority rules. At the same time, an 86-year-old female driver from the district of Spittal was driving on Wolfsberger St. Johanner Straße. "The man disregarded the priority rule at the junction and drove straight ahead into it without stopping," reported the police.

Thrown onto the windshield
Because the 86-year-old was no longer able to brake, she crashed into the e-biker at a right angle. "He was first thrown onto the windscreen of the car and then several meters through the air," said the police. The man suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to Wolfsberg Regional Hospital by the ambulance service.
