Jack-of-all-trades Jagerhofer and the new beach tractor

Jack-of-all-trades Hannes Jagerhofer has been looking for a farm in Carinthia for years. The beach volleyball organizer prefers to sit in a tractor. Now he has received a new Steyr tractor in Klagenfurt, and with the 110 hp monster he could even pull a beach center court.

Hannes Jagerhofer, a jack-of-all-trades, has been looking for a farm in Carinthia for years. "It's not that easy because people are selling less now. They want to acquire land. I want to grow vegetables and am looking for land that hasn't been contaminated with fertilizers."

Jagerhofer has prepared his large "Huabn" on the Simonhöhe to perfection. With a fish pond and his own electricity generation. "But my favorite thing to do is sit in the tractor. In winter, we spent hours clearing the snow." The beach volleyball organizer has also been a Steyr brand ambassador for years. 

"I gave an interview back then saying that I would never turn around for a Ferrari, but I would for a tractor. The head of Steyr then sent me a mini tractor." The company then became a sponsor of beach volleyball. "Years ago, we once set up a huge tractor in the tournament area and the thousands of fans were fascinated," says Hannes. He has already owned five tractors in his life.

Now Jagerhofer has received the latest tractor in Klagenfurt, which could pull an entire beach center court. The vehicle is 2.90 meters high, has 110 hp and costs 180,000 euros with all the extras. "It's fully air-conditioned and even drives automatically," enthuses the 62-year-old. "The cockpit looks like a Formula 1 car. The tractor can do everything," adds dealer Otmar Zankl.

His first journey took Jagerhofer and his tractor to Klagenfurt - to his "House of Web". "The narrow driveway is 2.40 meters wide, I can still get through."
