Witnesses alert police about drunk driver

In St. Margarethen im Lungau on Sunday night, a 29-year-old female driver was driving her car with over two per mille alcohol in her blood. Other drivers alerted the police due to the conspicuous and unsafe driving style. Officers stopped the car and checked the driver.

The alcohol test revealed a level of over two per mille, the police reported. There were fresh scuff marks all along the passenger side of the drunk driver's car.

As the driver was unable to provide any information, further investigations are underway. The 29-year-old had to surrender her driver's license on the spot and was prohibited from continuing to drive.
