SC Ritzing stopped playing in February and withdrew from the Burgenlandliga. But now things could get really tight for the soccer club.

In mid-February, SC Ritzing withdrew from the red and gold Burgenlandliga when the club stopped playing. Now the soccer club is in trouble and things could get really tight. A bankruptcy petition has been filed by SC Ritzing itself. "Bankruptcy proceedings have already been opened," a spokesperson for the Eisenstadt regional court confirmed to the "Krone".

The former players, who are said to still have outstanding payments, should also receive their money. "If not from the bankruptcy estate, then from an insolvency fund," the sports union younion knows.
