Formula 1: Carlos Sainz’s switch is perfect!

It's now official: Carlos Sainz, who has to leave Ferrari at the end of the season, will be racing for Williams from next year!

"Carlos not only brings experience and performance, but is also a tenacious driver who gets every millisecond out of the car and team," Williams team boss James Vowles said in the press release about the signing:

Must make way for Hamilton
Sainz is currently in his last Formula 1 season with Ferrari before Lewis Hamilton takes over his cockpit at the start of the 2025 season.

Recently, there have been repeated rumors about his future. Sainz had also been linked to Red Bull and Mercedes, among others.
