Hit and run after accident on the Rhine Valley highway

As the police have only just announced, a driver hit another vehicle with his car on the Rhine Valley highway early on Thursday and then made off.

The incident occurred at around 4.20 a.m. near Dornbirn in the direction of Germany. The driver of a dark-colored car overtook another car in the construction zone and collided with it from the side. He then continued his journey without giving his details or informing the police. The material damage is considerable.

The police were able to establish that the vehicle involved in the accident was probably a dark Audi A6 or A7. Anyone who can provide information about the accident or the driver is asked to contact the Dornbirn highway police station (Tel. [phone]).
