Cows attacked German tourists twice

Tyrol's police have once again reported a cow attack. The animals that injured a German (65) in the Außerfern region had already attacked a fellow countrywoman (40) just an hour earlier. Irony of fate: after the attack, the 40-year-old had met the 65-year-old and warned him.

On Thursday afternoon, the 65-year-old German was out hiking and grazing in the Heiterwanger Hochalm area. As reported, he was suddenly attacked by two cows at around 2.30 pm. The holidaymaker suffered injuries and was flown to Reutte Hospital by rescue helicopter.

During the hike, they came across a 65-year-old German hiker from the Allgäu region and warned him about the cows.

Woman attacked an hour earlier
As the police announced on Sunday, there had already been an attack around an hour earlier - at around 1.30 pm. A 40-year-old German woman was walking along the same hiking trail with her ten-year-old daughter. While the girl was able to get to safety in time, the mother was attacked by the two cows, but was only slightly injured.

The irony: the mother-daughter team, who had continued their hike, came across the 65-year-old and warned him about the dangerous cows.
