E-scooter bank robber is still on the run

A bank robber stole over 10,000 euros in the Tyrolean capital on Friday. After the robbery, he fled on an e-scooter. When asked by "Krone" on Sunday, it was reported that there is still no trace of the perpetrator.

A police helicopter flying over Innsbruck caused a stir before the weekend. It soon became known that the officers were looking for a bank robber. He had targeted the Sparkasse branch in Reichenauer Straße near St. Paul's Church shortly after 8 am. 

There are no clues to the bank robber's whereabouts in the case.

There is still no trace of the perpetrator
An employee complied with the armed man's request and gave him the cash he demanded. The perpetrator stole around 10,000 euros and fled the scene on an e-scooter. "The employees present were unharmed during the robbery," said the investigators.

Apparently, the bank robber is still in hiding. "There are no indications of his whereabouts in this case," a police spokesperson told the Tiroler Krone newspaper on Sunday afternoon.
