Motorcyclists collided – two men dead

A terrible accident in Burgenland: two motorcyclists collided on the Geschriebenstein Straße (B56) on Saturday evening. They were probably traveling at excessive speed beforehand. Both men were killed in the crash. 

The two victims of the accident are said to be a 21-year-old and a 28-year-old motorcyclist. One of the two is said to have been traveling with a group in the direction of Lockenhaus when the crash occurred. The men are believed to have collided head-on.

This was reported by the two witnesses Marco Simic and Vladan Siki (see photo). They were also traveling on the B 56 when the dramatic incident occurred. They were actually on their way towards Vienna. One of the drivers is even said to have been thrown into the meadow next to the road. The two drivers then allegedly laid the accident victims on the road and initiated first aid measures.

Numerous emergency services were immediately on the scene - including a helicopter, ambulance, police and fire department. Unfortunately, both accident victims died.

Simic also points out that you should not drive at only 80 km/h on this road for no reason. Both men were probably traveling at excessive speeds.
