Young men attacked at a party – seriously injured

A brutal attack took place in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Tyrolean Ötztal: two young men were attacked and seriously injured by unknown perpetrators at a party. Both had to be taken to hospital.

It must have taken a little longer for some of the partygoers. According to the police, the brutal attack took place at around 5.30 a.m. at a festival in Umhausen.

Reason for attack still completely unclear
Two young men aged 18 and 19 were suddenly attacked by unknown perpetrators. According to the investigators, it is not yet clear why. In any case, the 19-year-old was seriously injured in the knee area as a result of the attack.

After first aid, both were taken to hospital in Zams by ambulance.

Companion injured on the head
His younger companion apparently suffered significant injuries to his head. After first aid, both injured persons were taken to Zams Hospital by ambulance. There is no trace of the attackers so far - the police have started an investigation.
