All help too late

Tyrolean dies on bike tour in Carinthia

A cycling trip ended tragically for a 71-year-old man in Carinthia. All help came too late for the man after a fall. 

It was supposed to be a nice trip with his partner. The Tyrolean couple were on a forest road in Unternaggl in the municipality of Weißensee. Suddenly, the man felt pain in his chest during the ride, but continued on his bike tour, according to the police. 

However, after just a few meters, the man fell off his bike and lay motionless on the ground. His partner alerted the emergency services. Other mountain bikers rushed to help. But all help came too late for the man.
