Worker left motionless after falling from ladder

A fatal accident at work on Tuesday morning in Völs near Innsbruck: during formwork work, a 64-year-old local man fell several meters from a ladder and remained motionless on the ground. The seriously injured man had to be taken to hospital.

According to the police, the 64-year-old was working on concrete formwork at a plant in Völs while standing on a ladder. Shortly after 9 a.m., the local man fell around three meters to the ground and remained motionless.

Site manager provided first aid
"The site manager immediately set the rescue chain in motion and administered first aid," reported the police. After first aid, the seriously injured 64-year-old was taken to the hospital in Innsbruck by ambulance.
