Injury worries

ÖFB women have to do without Zadrazil for the time being!

Austria's women's national team is plagued by injury worries ahead of the final European Championship qualifiers against Poland in Altach on Friday and against Germany in Hanover the following Tuesday!

Sarah Zadrazil, for example, has not traveled to the camp in Schruns, at least for the time being, due to a foot injury. It will probably be decided on Wednesday whether the Bayern legionnaire will be able to play in the two matches.

Chiara D'Angelo (foot injury) and Cologne goalkeeper Jasmin Pal (back problems), who played in the recent away game in Iceland, will definitely miss out.

Goalkeeper Isabella Kresche called up
Team boss Irene Fuhrmann replaced Pal with goalkeeper Isabella Kresche, while Michela Croatto (RB Leipzig) replaces the injured D'Angelo.

Carina Brunold (SPG FC Lustenau/FC Dornbirn Ladies) has also been called up and is in the ÖFB squad for the first time, while Valentina Kröll (SGS Essen) and Yvonne Weilharter (FK Austria Wien) have also made the squad.
