Styrian man falls through a glass roof while clearing it

An attempt to clean a glass roof in Deutschlandsberg ended fatally on Saturday morning: a 56-year-old man fell through a pane of glass and was seriously injured. Even the rescue helicopter had to be called out.

He only wanted to clean the glass roof of his home - but then things turned out differently than planned. While cleaning, the 56-year-old Styrian fell several meters and broke through a pane of glass.

Hospitalized with serious injuries
He crashed to the ground and was seriously injured. He broke several bones and sustained cuts. The 56-year-old was flown to hospital by rescue helicopter.
